🌿 The Opening — Radhina (We Are Pleased)
Every Majlis of the Quthbiya Manzil begins with the Radhina — a declaration of spiritual alignment that places the reciter within a chain of divine pleasure stretching from the Creator to the Prophet ﷺ to the greatest of saints.
"We are pleased with Allah as our Lord, with Islam as our religion, with our Master Muhammad ﷺ as our Prophet and Messenger, and with our Master the Greatest Helper Muhiyuddin Abdul Qadir al-Jilani (May Allah be pleased with him) as our Shaykh and Spiritual Guide — to the number of Allah's creation, to the extent of His pleasure, to the weight of His Throne, to the ink of His words, and for the eternity of His Kingdom."
The Power of This Declaration
The scholars teach: "Whoever says this Radhina has pleased Allah, pleased His Prophet ﷺ — the reason for all creation — and has connected to Ghawth al-A'zam." Sayyidina Abdul Qadir al-Jilani said: "Whoever mentions my name with respect is also my disciple." This opening declaration is not merely words — it is a spiritual bond.
Ghawthuz Zaman — Supreme Helper of ALL TIMES
A core Qadiri belief that must be understood: Sayyidina Abdul Qadir al-Jilani is not just the Ghawth of his era. He is Ghawthuz Zaman kullad dari wal heen — غوث الزمان كل الدهر والحين — the Supreme Helper of every time, every age, every moment — without beginning or end.
His Ghawthiyya (supreme spiritual authority) is not limited to his earthly lifetime of 1077–1166 CE. It extends before his birth and continues after his worldly life. The Awliya of the silsila teach that his spiritual assistance is available in every age — he is the Ghawth now, as he was then, as he will be. When we call out "Ya Ghawth al-A'zam," we are calling on a living reality — a pole of creation that Allah has made timeless. This is why the Manzil people hold on to him not as a historical figure, but as their living Shaykh, their present helper, their connection to the Prophet ﷺ in this very moment.
🕌 What is the Quthbiya Manzil?
The Quthbiya Manzil (literally: the Station of the Pole/Qutb) is a sacred place — a blessed spiritual gathering hall where all tariqahs meet. It is the home of all Qutbs — Muhieddeen (Ghawth al-A'zam Abdul Qadir Jilani), Moinuddin Chishti (Madarul Aalameen), Bahauddin Naqshbandi, the Shadhili masters, and all the spiritual poles of Islam — honoured together in every Majlis. It is not a book. The kitab (recital book) is what is recited at this place during the Majlis.
It has been said: "Islam is not complete without what is within the walls of the Quthbiya Manzil." These are the literal walls of this place — a gathering space where the full living essence of Islam is practised: Quran, Salawath, Istighfar, Dua, and devotional love, bound together in a daily spiritual program that transforms the heart. MuhieddeenTV broadcasts this Majlis live to the world — carrying it to every home, every country, every heart.
A Place of Daily Majlis — Every Maghrib
The Quthbiya Manzil holds a daily Majlis at Maghrib time — every day. The community gathers, the kitab is recited together, the silsila is alive, and the spiritual current flows. This is not an occasional event — it is a living covenant between the Murid and Allah through the chain.
The only exception: Monday and Friday evenings are given leave — to encourage and promote the Rathib. On those days, people are directed to join the Rathib Majlis at their local Thaika, where the Rathib gatherings take place. This is our Shaikh's way of honouring and uplifting other blessed Majlis gatherings — not keeping people only to the Quthbiya Manzil, but actively encouraging them toward the Rathib at the Thaika as well.
Urus — Celebrating the Return to Allah
Beyond the daily Majlis, the Quthbiya Manzil hosts Urus — the sacred death anniversary celebrations of the Awliya Allah. Urus (عرس, literally "wedding") marks the day a great soul was "wed" to their Lord — the day they returned to Allah. It is not mourning — it is rejoicing. The Wali reached their destination.
At the Quthbiya Manzil, Urus gatherings are held for:
The blessed Prophets of Allah — from Adam (عليه السلام) to the seal, Muhammad ﷺ. Their memory is honoured and their spiritual presence invoked.
The noble companions of the Prophet ﷺ — those who carried Islam with their lives, including beloved figures like Sayyidina Abu Darda (رضي الله عنه).
The Friends of Allah — the great saints of every generation, especially those of the Qadiri silsila, whose baraka continues to flow to this day.
The great Imams of Islam — the Ahlul Bayt and the founders of the major spiritual paths, whose light the community carries forward.
This is what makes the Quthbiya Manzil a living spiritual centre — not just a place of daily recital, but a home for the entire calendar of Islamic remembrance, woven together across the year.
This is not a book to read blindly. Understanding what you recite — its meaning, its chain, its power — is what separates mere ritual from living dhikr. The Qasida Ghausia (Saqanil Hubbuqa) — if read with its translation — reveals the immense station of Ghawth al-A'zam and helps the reciter understand whom they are holding onto.
🔗 The Living Chain — Shaykh & Murid
The Prophet ﷺ taught his companions. Today, the Shaykh stands in the place of the Prophet ﷺ and the Murid (student/disciple) stands in the place of the Sahaba (companion). This is the unbroken chain of Islamic transmission.
The Quthbiya Manzil flows in this same stream: following the Prophet ﷺ, his family, his companions, and the chain of living Awliya (saints) who carry the light forward.
Regarding those Awliya who have passed on: their spiritual power remains and they can benefit those who seek their intercession. However, for practical guidance in this world, a living Shaykh is needed. And Ghawth al-A'zam himself declared: "The one who has no Shaykh — let him take me as his Shaykh."
💚 Hasan, Husain & the Prophet's Love
The Salawath and recitals in the Quthbiya Manzil are deeply woven around the love of the Prophet's ﷺ family. This is not a preference — it is a command with a promise:
In the Salatul Abawain (Salawath for the Two Parents), we send blessings specifically upon Sayyidina Abdullah (the Prophet's ﷺ father) and Sayyidah Aminah (his mother) — honoring the noble lineage from which the greatest of creation ﷺ emerged.
🤲 Ya Wahhab, Ya Tawwab — The Recurring Supplication
Throughout the Quthbiya Manzil kitab — appearing after each major Surah and dhikr section — is a powerful 4-line supplication addressed to two of Allah's Names: Ya Wahhab (O Giver of All Things) and Ya Tawwab (O Acceptor of Repentance). This is not recited once — it flows through the entire kitab as a living prayer connecting each section.
What makes this recital unique: each time it appears, the third line changes — specifically calling upon a different Imam or Caliph by name. Over the full course of the kitab, all Four Rightly-Guided Caliphs of Islam and all Four Madhab Imams are each called upon by name through this formula.
The Core Formula — Ya Wahhab Ya Tawwab
"O Giver — O Acceptor of Repentance — accept repentance from the believers. Send salawath and peace upon the Intercessor for the sinners. Be pleased with our master, Imam [name], the Trustworthy. And grant us through him the best of this world and the Deen."
Recited ×3 each time it appears
The Four Caliphs — Each Called by Name
In the Ya Wahhab formula, each of the Four Rightly-Guided Caliphs (Khulafa ar-Rashidun) is called upon in a separate instance with their own beloved title:
Imam Siddiq al-Akbar — The Greatest Truthful One
Imam al-Faruq — The Distinguisher of Truth from Falsehood
Imam al-Ghani — The Generous, The Wealthy in Allah's blessing
Imam Haider — The Lion. Also called Abil Hasanain (Father of the Two Hasans)
The Four Madhab Imams — Each Called by Name
In the same formula, each of the Four Imams of Islamic Jurisprudence is also called — each appearing in his own instance of Ya Wahhab throughout the kitab:
The Imam of the Hanafi Madhab — النُّعْمَانُ
The Imam of the Maliki Madhab — Imam Malik ibn Anas
The Imam of the Shafi'i Madhab — Muhammad ibn Idris al-Shafi'i
The Imam of the Hanbali Madhab — Ahmad ibn Hanbal
Why This Matters
This is not a detail — it is a declaration. By calling each Caliph and each Madhab Imam by name in every Majlis, the Quthbiya Manzil affirms: this place belongs to all of Islam. It is not the Majlis of one school, one tariqah, or one era — it is the Majlis of the entire Ummah, holding every pillar of Islamic tradition in honour. This is what it means when they say: "Islam is not complete without what is within the walls of the Quthbiya Manzil."
⭐ Salawath — The Deed That Is Never Rejected
Every deed we perform may or may not be accepted by Allah — this depends on sincerity, conditions, and His mercy. But the scholars have unanimously stated:
A Unique Guarantee
"Every deed may be accepted or rejected — but Salawath upon the Prophet ﷺ is never rejected. Allah Himself declared in His book that He and His angels send Salawath, and He commanded the believers to do the same."
"Indeed Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe, send blessings upon him and greet him with a worthy greeting." — Surah Al-Ahzab 33:56
This is why the Quthbiya Manzil contains so many forms of Salawath — each with a different focus and blessing:
- Salatul IbrahimiyyaThe foundational Salawath — prayed in every salah
- Salatul RidhaSalawath of Divine Pleasure — recited 7x on Fridays
- Salatul AbawainFor the blessed parents of the Prophet ﷺ
- Salatul Thibbil QuloobMedicine of the Hearts — healing Salawath
- Salatul Thafreejul KurabRelief from distress, knots untied
- Salatul SadaqahSalawath of Truthfulness
- Salatul UmarahSalawath of Nobility
- Salawathul MumtazThe Distinguished Salawath
- Ma Damatil SalawathRecited 24x — for the deceased & for parents
Sayyidina — The Title of Our Master
In the Quthbiya Manzil, every Salawath is recited with the word Sayyidina — "our master." This is not ordinary — it is the fullest expression of love and honour. We do not simply say "Muhammad" — we say Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, "our master Muhammad."
Similarly, the Salawath Ibrahimiyya — recited in every Salah — is expanded with wa ala aali Sayyidina Muhammadin: "and upon the family of our master Muhammad." The word aali (آل) means household, family, descendants. We include the entire blessed family — the Prophet ﷺ and all those who came from him.
Not Like the Salawath Others Recite
The Salawath in the Quthbiya Manzil are not the ordinary forms most people use. They are from the highest category — formulas that break the boundary of finite numbers and reach into the infinite.
The Salawath Ibrahimiyya — as recited in the Kitab:
"O Allah, send blessings, peace and baraka upon our master Muhammad and upon the family of our master Muhammad, as You sent blessings, peace and baraka upon our master Ibrahim and the family of our master Ibrahim, in all the worlds — our Lord, You are indeed Praiseworthy and Glorious — blessings that grant us an accepted Hajj, a thanked endeavour, an accepted deed, a forgiven sin, and a trade that shall never fail — to the count of Your creation, to Your own satisfaction, to the weight of Your Throne, to the extent of Your words, and to the perpetuity of Your Kingdom — O Possessor of Majesty and Honour."
The Five Infinite Phrases — the heart of the formula:
To the count of Allah's creation — every atom, every creature, every moment ever made
To the measure of Allah's own satisfaction — which nothing can exceed
To the weight of Allah's Throne — which contains all the heavens and earth as a ring in a desert
To the ink of Allah's words — "if all the seas were ink and all the trees were pens, they would not suffice" (Quran 18:109)
The Jazallah & Salawathul Mumtaz formula:
"May Allah reward on our behalf our Prophet, our master and our liege-lord — the best of all Prophets and Messengers, our master Muhammad, may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him and his family and companions and nation — with what he deserves — to the count of all that is in Allah's knowledge, and to the perpetuity of Allah's Kingdom."
The Prophet ﷺ's Dream — Angels That Never Stop
The Prophet ﷺ appeared in a dream and conveyed this: for people who recite Salawath in the ordinary way, 70 angels — or in some narrations, 70,000 angels — come to record the reward and write blessings upon them. This is already an extraordinary honour.
But for the people of the Manzil — those who recite the Salawath of Quthbiya Manzil with its infinite formulas — the angels never stop writing. Ever. Because the Salawath itself does not stop — it extends to the eternity of Allah's dominion. And so the angels recording its reward cannot stop either. There is no end to what is being written for them.
📿 The Quranic Recitals & Their Benefits
The five Surahs recited daily in the Quthbiya Manzil were specifically chosen by the tradition — each carrying a hadith-backed benefit for the reciter's daily life, afterlife, and spiritual state.
| Surah | Benefit — From Hadith & Scholarly Tradition |
|---|---|
| Al-Fatiha الفاتحة |
The Opening — cure, blessing, accepted supplication. The Prophet ﷺ called it "the greatest Surah in the Quran." Recited as the foundation of every prayer. |
| Ya-Sin يس |
"Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Quran is Ya-Sin. Whoever recites it, Allah writes for him a reward equal to reading the Quran ten times." (Tirmidhi). Recited for the sick, for the deceased, and for forgiveness. |
| Ad-Dukhaan الدخان |
"Whoever recites Ha-Mim Ad-Dukhaan on Friday night, 70,000 angels seek forgiveness for him." (Tirmidhi). Also connected to protection from trials and fearlessness in facing the tests of this world. |
| Al-Mulk الملك |
"It is the Preventer — it prevents the punishment of the grave. It intercedes for its companion until he is forgiven." (Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud). Protects from the punishment of the grave. |
| Al-Waqia الواقعة |
Ibn Masud (رضي الله عنه) reported the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever recites Surah Al-Waqia every night, poverty will never touch him." (Bayhaqi). The Surah of wealth, sustenance (rizq) and protection from poverty. |
Huwa Allah — The 70,000 Angels
Among the most powerful individual recitals is the closing verses of Surah Al-Hashr (59:22-24), known in this Majlis as Huwa Allah:
Fasubhanallah — Surah Ar-Rum 30:17–19
The verses of morning and evening Tasbih (glorification) — a command to glorify Allah at dawn, dusk, at midday and in the night. These three verses from Surah Ar-Rum are a daily anchor to remembrance at every turning of the day.
🕊️ Salamu Baith — Peace Upon All
The Salamu Baith is a sweeping poetic litany of peace — Ya Nabiyyu Salamun Alaykum — sending salutations upon every Prophet, every Companion, every Caliph, every Imam, and every Wali (saint) of Allah.
The Four Rightly-Guided Caliphs
The Salamu Baith also mentions the great Awliya of this tradition: Muhiyuddin (Ghawth al-A'zam), Muin al-Din, Shah Wali, Jifri, Qutb Sailan (Pole of Ceylon/Sri Lanka), and Ghawth as-Sarandib — the Ghawth of Sri Lanka — رضي الله عنهم — connecting this kitab to the spiritual geography of our own land.
It closes with the direct address to Ghawth al-A'zam himself:
"Peace be upon you, O our Qutb, Ghawth of all creation — O possessor of the Path, our Master Abdul Shakur"

🐍 Sayyidul Istighfar — The Master of Forgiveness
Among the most powerful gifts in this kitab is the Sayyidul Istighfar — the Master of Forgiveness. This dua was transmitted through the noble companion Abu Darda رضي الله عنه, who was known for his asceticism and closeness to the Prophet ﷺ. His recitation of this dua famously saved his house — a fire approached, yet the house was left untouched — bearing witness to its extraordinary spiritual protection.
"O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no deity except You. You created me and I am Your servant. I uphold Your covenant and Your promise to the best of my ability. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me, and I acknowledge my sins — so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You."
Like Pulling the Teeth and Venom from a Snake
Our teachers explain the protection of this dua with a vivid image: reciting Sayyidul Istighfar is like pulling out the teeth of a snake and draining its venom. The snake still exists — the enemies, the evil, the harm — but they cannot bite. They cannot kill. The danger is real, but the ability to harm you has been removed. This is the shield that wraps around the one who recites it with sincerity.
When We Recite It
Right after saying the final Salam — before rising, or while rising — Sayyidul Istighfar is recited. Not after a pause, not after phones and distractions — immediately, while still in the sanctified state of prayer.
This is also part of the Quthbiya Manzil daily recital — woven into the kitab so that the community renews their repentance together, collectively calling on Allah to forgive, with the Shaykh present and the silsila alive.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever recites this with firm belief in the evening and dies that night, they shall enter Paradise. And whoever recites it with firm belief in the morning and dies that day, they shall enter Paradise." (Sahih al-Bukhari)
The Dua Upon the Beloved — Rabbi Salli
Alongside Sayyidul Istighfar in the recital, we raise our hands and hearts with Rabbi Salli — calling on Allah to shower blessings upon those who are the cause of all the good we carry.
What Does "Rabbi Salli" Mean?
Rabbi = My Lord — the most intimate address to Allah. Not "Ya Allah" (O God) nor even "Allahumma" (O Allah) — but Rabbi, "My Lord," the word a child uses with their creator, the word of need, of complete dependence, of love. Salli = Send Salawath / blessings and peace upon. So "Rabbi Salli ala..." means: "My Lord — You who are mine, You who care for me — send Your blessings upon..." It is the most personal way a servant can ask Allah to honour those they love.
The Rabbi Salli in the kitab is a beautiful flowing sequence — each line prays upon a different beloved in a specific order. Here is the recital as it appears in the kitab, in order:
My Lord — send blessings and peace upon the Prophet, and upon the family and upon the Imam, Ghawth al-A'zam Muhieddeen (Abdul Qadir al-Jilani) — ×10
...and upon the Imam Shadhili Nooruddin (Imam Abu Hasan al-Shadhili رضي الله عنه, founder of Shadhiliyya) — ×10
...and upon the Imam Shah Habib Saifuddin — ×10
...and upon the Awliya (saints) of Serendib/Sri Lanka (Sailan) — ×5
...and upon my master, my Shaikh, the owner of generosity — ×5
...and upon my master, my father, the owner of generosity — ×5
...and upon our noble Lady (Sittina Sayyidah), the owner of honour — ×5
...and upon all the Shuhadah (martyrs) — ×5
Then — The Full Abawain Salawath (Page 54 of Kitab)
The Rabbi Salli culminates in a beautiful litany where each line asks Allah to send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ, the family (Aal), and the two parents (Abawain) — each time with a different noble attribute. This is recited as a flowing sequence:
رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَسَلِّمْ ❋ وَعَلَى الْآلِ وَالْأَبَوَيْنِ الْمُصْطَفَيَيْنِ

رَبِّ صَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَسَلِّمْ ❋ وَعَلَى الْآلِ وَالْأَبَوَيْنِ الْوَلِيَّيْنِ
"My Lord — send blessings and peace upon the Prophet ﷺ, and upon the family (Aal), and upon the two parents who are: the Noble Ones / the Chosen Ones / the Elected Ones / the Truthful Ones / the Martyrs / the Poles (Qutbs) / the Two Lights / the Majestic Ones / the Compassionate Ones / the Merciful Ones / the Generous Ones / the Saints."
Awladil Hasanain — Not "Ahlul Baith"
In the Majlis, the tariqah founders and Awliya are not addressed by the general term "Ahlul Baith" — they are called directly as Awladil Hasanain (أَوْلَادِ الْحَسَنَيْنِ — the children of the two Hasans). This is a deliberate, precise address — recognising that Ghawth al-A'zam, Imam Shadhili, and all the major Awliya trace their lineage specifically through Imam Hasan and Imam Husain رضي الله عنهما, the grandsons of the Prophet ﷺ.
🤲 Closing — Dua Shareef
The Majlis closes with the Dua Shareef — a majestic supplication combining verses of Surah Al-Baqarah (the Rabbana duas), prayers for forgiveness, healing, sustenance, and intercession through Ghawth al-A'zam — followed by the devotional Qasidas.
"Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. My Lord, have mercy upon them (my parents) as they raised me when I was young — for as long as mercy endures, O Most Merciful of the merciful."
This Majlis is Live & Daily
This is not a museum of recitation — it is a living, daily spiritual practice. Every day, in real time, these words are recited in Majlis gatherings. The chain is alive, the Shaykh is present, the Salawath rises, and through it, hearts are purified, sustenance is opened, distress is lifted, and the connection to the Prophet ﷺ and his family is renewed.
⏳ The Two Deeds Accepted in the Aakhir Zaman
Our beloved Qutbuz Zaman, Ghawthana, Shaikhana — Thaika Sahib Appa (رضي الله عنه) taught us something of profound importance for these times:
Words of Thaika Sahib Appa
"In the Aakhir Zaman — the end of times — where there is no sincerity left in prayer, no halal rizq, chaos everywhere, and the heart is full of distraction — only two deeds are being accepted: Salawath upon the Prophet ﷺ and Repentance (Tawbah / Istigfar)."
Look at what our Shaikh Jaleel Muhieddeen has placed in our hands through this kitab:
Our Shaikh Jaleel Muhieddeen — seeing the state of this time — gave us Rabbi Salli and Ya Wahhab Ya Thawwab as our anchor. Not as an accident, but as a deliberate spiritual prescription for the Aakhir Zaman.
🌙 The Golden Hour — Maghrib to Isha
The Quthbiya Manzil Majlis is recited daily in the blessed time between Maghrib and Isha — and this is no coincidence. This window of time holds a special place in the Sunnah.
The great companions and their followers (Tabi'in) used to guard this time specifically for worship, dhikr, and Quran. The Salaf (pious predecessors) called the prayers performed in this window Salatul Awwabeen — the prayer of those who constantly return to Allah.
By gathering between Maghrib and Isha for the full Quthbiya Manzil recitation — Quran, Salawath, Istigfar, Duas — the Majlis aligns with the prophetic example of filling this sacred hour with remembrance rather than heedlessness.
Watch Live on MuhieddeenTV
This Majlis is broadcast live daily on MuhieddeenTV — bringing the blessed gathering of Salawath, Quran and Dhikr directly into your home, wherever you are in the world. The recitation is live, not recorded — a real Majlis, in real time, every day.

🌳 Shaikh Jaleel Muhieddeen & the Living Legacy
His Holiness Shaikh Jaleel Muhieddeen founded this Majlis and this kitab in the name and tradition of his grandfather — Sayyidina Ghawth al-A'zam Muhiyuddin Abdul Qadir al-Jilani (رضي الله عنه). He is counted among the 21st son in the blessed lineage, carrying forward the same name — Muhieddeen (Reviver of the Faith) — as the Ghawth himself.
This is not a coincidence of naming. It is a spiritual inheritance. The same Wilayah (sainthood), the same Qadiri chain, the same mission: to revive the faith in the hearts of people in every age.
"The one who has no Shaykh — let him take me as his Shaykh. And whoever mentions my name with respect is also from my disciples."
Shaikh Jaleel Muhieddeen stands in this living chain — making the Ghawth accessible to every soul in this age, through this daily Majlis, through this kitab, and through MuhieddeenTV.
🛗 The Fastest Lift to God — Why Quthbiya Manzil Was Opened
For Dhikr, there are already thaikas and other blessed places. So why did Shaikh Jaleel Muhieddeen open the Quthbiya Manzil specifically?
The answer lies in a profound Hadith of the Prophet ﷺ:
Consider the weight of this: I'tikaf in Masjid an-Nabawi for one year is already equivalent to 50,000 years of i'tikaf in an ordinary mosque (given the hadith multiplier of the Masjid). Yet one glance of love and respect at a righteous person exceeds all of that. The Prophet ﷺ said "greater than" — not "equal to."
This is exactly what the Quthbiya Manzil creates. By gathering people together, speaking about the virtues and greatness of the Awliya Allah, the Prophets, the Companions — we cultivate that respectful, loving vision in our hearts. Every time we hear of their greatness and our heart responds with "MashaAllah, BarakAllah!" — we have achieved what the hadith describes.
Laylatul Qadr — Every Night
Sadaqatullah Appa (رضي الله عنه) taught: "The night on which the Prophet ﷺ is praised and salutations are sent upon him is extended — it becomes a Laylatul Qadr."
We cannot normally have Laylatul Qadr except in Ramadan. But after seeing and praising the Prophet ﷺ — who is the Mercy of all creation, the reason for all existence — with love and respect, that night becomes blessed beyond measure. And if this is true for the Prophet ﷺ, then consider: how much more when we love and honour him with full awareness of who he is?
This is Ghawth al-A'zam's way of reaching God — the fastest lift ever, moving at lightning speed on the Siratal Mustaqeem. Not by our own deeds alone, but by connecting our hearts to the beloved ones of Allah and riding the current of their nearness to Him.
Three Types of Vision
The Imams teach that there are three ways we can look at another person:
The Quthbiya Manzil was opened precisely to create and train this Higher Vision — sharing about the greatness of all Awliya Allah on their Urus Mubarak, inviting us to see them with love and respect. As it is said: "We will be with whom we love."
🎙️ What Our Shaikh Taught Us — The Way of Sharing
This is not how the Majlis begins — but what our Shaikh taught us about how to share knowledge and reminder with others. We share it here so that those who come to this teaching carry it the same way it was given to us:
From Our Shaikh
Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh.
I am here to remind — first myself, then the believers here. While Shaytan does his job as the king of forgetting and ignorance, we must do the opposite: remind and raise awareness.
The knowledge shared here is not my own — it flows fully from my Shaikh → to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ → to Allah.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. Nahmadahu wa nusalli wa nusalllimu ala Rasoolihil Kareem.
يَا رَبِّ يَا رَبِّ — بَدِّلْ ظُلُمَاتِنَا نُورًا أَبْيَضَ وَأَخْضَرَ
"O Lord, O Lord — Replace darkness with White and Green Light."
Advance us in knowledge for the sake of the Prophet ﷺ and his respect. Lead us on the right path of those whom You have blessed. Save us from the path of those who have gone astray — for the sake of the Prophet ﷺ and his honour. Ameen, Ya Rabbal Alameen, bi-hurumathi Khayril Anbiya wal-Mursaleen, Rahmatullil Alameen.
❤️ The Heart is the Engine — Why Purification Comes First
Our Prophet ﷺ came to purify the heart. For many years before teaching prayer and outward worship, he focused entirely on the hearts of his companions. There is a reason for this:
The Engine Principle
The heart is the engine for all other parts of the body — the main part of all creation. If the engine runs right, everything goes right. If the engine goes off track, everything falls. Shaytan himself prayed for thousands of years without purification of the heart — and it took him to the deepest place of ruin.
Imam al-Ghazali — the ocean of knowledge who memorised hundreds of thousands of hadith — wrote volumes upon volumes about Ma'rifa (knowledge of God), purification of the heart, and fighting the ego. His masterwork Ihya Ulum al-Din (Revival of Religious Sciences) is built entirely on this foundation.
The Prophet ﷺ taught his sweet daughter Sayyidah Fatimah Az-Zahra a supplication:
"O Ever-Living, O Sustainer — by Your mercy I seek relief. Do not leave me to myself (my ego) even for the blink of an eye, and rectify all of my affairs."
The Imams say: The nafs (ego) is 70 times worse than Shaytan. Shaytan does not even need to work hard — he simply activates his tool, which is the ego that lives within us. The Awliya Allah have conquered this enemy with Allah's help.
The Four Levels — How Do You Respond When Wronged?
The Imams teach a simple but profound test of spiritual station:
Imam Ali's Lesson — Ikhlas in Action
Imam Ali (رضي الله عنه) — the Gate of Knowledge, father of all Qutubs — was winning a battle. As he raised his weapon for the final strike, his opponent spat on him. He stopped and walked away.
The enemy called after him: "Why did you leave? If I were you, I would have torn you apart."
Imam Ali replied: "I was fighting only for Allah. But when you spat on me, my anger became personal. I cannot kill anyone for personal anger — only for Allah. I will return to you when my intention is pure again."
At that moment, the enemy said the Kalima and accepted Islam.
Islam Was Not Spread by the Sword
Islam was spread by Taqwa (God-consciousness) and Ma'rifa (knowledge of God) — which is the foundation of completely following our Prophet ﷺ. Note that Imam Ali could have killed that person for Allah — but he showed this as a living lesson so we would understand how the ego corrupts even the purest of intentions.
🔑 Signs of a True Shaykh — Three Essential Qualifications
The Grand Higher Qutubs of the Shadhuliyya state that anyone claiming to be a Shaykh must possess at minimum these three qualifications (from a list of up to 3,000). Without these, they risk being expelled from the right path and becoming a danger to those who follow them:
These are the minimum requirements. Genuine Shayks do not seek students — students are sent to them. They have no ego to serve, no following to build. They serve only Allah and His Prophet ﷺ.
🚂 The Train — How the Silsila Works
A rail engine travels at 100 km/h. The last coach of the train also travels at exactly 100 km/h — and arrives at the same station, at the same time.
The Silsila (Spiritual Chain) Metaphor
If you make sincere suhbah (connection of the heart) with a Shaykh Kamil who has an unbroken Silsila back to the Prophet ﷺ — you will travel at his speed and arrive at his station. You will be with the Prophet ﷺ if you follow the Shaykh who is connected to him by this chain.
The fruits of this connection, as taught by our masters:
- 🛡️ Protection — from Shaytan, from trials, from the whisperings of the nafs
- 🌅 Husnul Khatimah — a good and beautiful ending at the time of death
- 🤲 Accepted Dua — the Shaykh's supplications for the murid are from one whose duas are answered
- 🌿 Guaranteed Entrance to Jannah — for the one who holds firmly and sincerely
- ✨ Blessings for 7 Generations — the barakah extends through the family
All the Awliya Allah whose duas are accepted are connected to Shayks. All the Shayks of the world are connected to the Qutb of their time. And the Qutbs have direct connections upward through the chain — all the way to Ghawth al-A'zam, and through him to the Prophet ﷺ himself.
🌟 Khizr Nabi ﷺ & the Prophecy of the Mahdi
In a true Majlis of Awliya Allah, spiritual presences are known to attend. Regarding the Quthbiya Manzil Majlis, it has been mentioned by an Abdal (one of the 40 hidden saints alive at any time) that the presence of Khizr Nabi ﷺ is frequent there.
While it is considered normal for other Awliya to attend such gatherings in spiritual form, Khizr Nabi ﷺ — whose presence can ordinarily only be witnessed in private — comes more regularly to the Quthbiya Manzil. This is among the signs of the barakah of this Majlis.
"When Imam Mahdi ﷺ arrives in Sri Lanka, he will choose 40 Khalifas from there — and each one of them will be from the Quthbiya Manzil."
This is not a small statement. Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani was the Qutb of his age and Grand Shaykh of the Naqshbandi order worldwide. That the 40 Khalifas of Imam Mahdi ﷺ in Sri Lanka would emerge from this one Majlis speaks to its extraordinary spiritual station in the sight of Allah.
The Question of Ears vs. Eyes
Once, people at the Majlis asked Shaikh Jaleel Muhieddeen: "Which is more important — the eyes or the ears?"
The people there thought it was the eyes. Shaikh Jaleel Muhieddeen said: "It is the ears."
He explained: "Whether a person goes to heaven or hell depends on what he listens to and from whom. Listen only to real Shayks — those with the Silsila, the qualifications, and the permission of the Prophet ﷺ."
🏡 Make Your House Alive
Make your house alive with the most righteous ones — from all Madhab and Tariqah (spiritual paths), from the grandchildren of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the mercy of all creation. Keep remembering the Creator of all creation and everything.
It is all in the name of the Supreme Helper — Ghawthul A'zam Sheikh Abdul Qadir Muhieddeen (رضي الله عنه) — and it is his holiness Shaikh Jaleel Muhieddeen who shares with us about his grandfather in every suhbath.
يَا غَوْثَ الأَعْظَمَ أَدْرِكْنَا
"O our Greatest Helper — reach us, aid us, guide us."
